Neither half-empty nor half-full


“Is it half-empty or half-full?”

The mother asks the little girl as she points to her unfinished glass of water. She wants to teach her child a lesson on hope and optimism.

The girl stares at the glass and giggles.

“You know what, Mommy? That glass needs to be filled.”
